Fr. Edward Inyanwachi, also MMCF President and Co-Founder
A Catholic priest from Nigeria, Fr. Edward has been involved in missionary work in several parishes in the archdiocese of San Francisco from 2002-2013. He obtained a postgraduate degree in theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio and a doctoral degree in Catholic Educational Leadership at the University of San Francisco. He has since returned to Abakaliki Diocese, Nigeria, where he serves as pastor at a small rural parish (St. Patrick, Uburu-Amachi) and also as Director of Catholic Education for his diocese. |
Angela B. Testani, also MMCF Secretary and Co-Founder
Retired since 2012 from a 40 year nursing career - 36 of them at the University of California, San Francisco, Mount Zion Medical Center - Angela continues her passion for international nursing. She is a member of the Lourdes International Medical Association and the Milan based European Institute of Oncology. Having known Fr. Edward Inyanwachi for more than 10 years, it was a “natural fit” for her to take her passion for international nursing to Nigeria – “I am extremely proud to be MMCF’s co-founder and Board Secretary.” |
Mary McTighe, also MMCF Chief Financial Officer
With a BS in Business Administration and an MBA, Mary brings her many years experience in various roles including Director of HR to the CTO at an American multinational information technology company to the mission of MMCF. Due to her passion for people, she is excited to serve the health care, educational and humanitarian needs of the people of Nigeria in Ebonyi State. |
Samuel O. Irem
Born in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria, Sam earned his bachelors in pharmacy and masters in pharmacology at the University of Montana. He now lives in Spokane, Washington where he works as a pharmacist. Sam is active in two other organizations - Friends of Ehugbo and Afikpo Organization, Inc. as an officer – which bring humanitarian aid to Afikpo, Ebonyi State including medical missions, supplying boreholes to provide potable drinking water, as well as scholarships and text books and other building construction. |
